Yes! You can now add a bottle of wine to select UrbanStems orders for delivery across most U.S. states.
How to Add Wine to Your Order
- When you’re shopping on a product page, look for the “Pair with Wine” option. Clicking this will:
Prompt an age verification step (21+ with valid ID at delivery).
Let you choose from our current wine offerings (like Avaline Sparkling Rosé and Avaline Syrah).
Add the wine and an alcohol shipping & handling charge to your cart.
- During checkout, you’ll also be asked to:
Confirm your date of birth
Check an age consent box confirming someone 21+ will be available to sign for the package.
If any of these steps are skipped, you’ll receive an error message prompting you to complete them before placing your order.
How Wine Orders Are Shipped
Wine ships separately from floral products.
All wine is shipped via UPS and requires a 21+ signature upon delivery.
If no one is home, UPS will make three delivery attempts before contacting us for next steps.
Tracking information for your wine delivery will be sent separately.
Please Note: Once wine orders are submitted to our fulfillment team and processing begins, we are unable to make changes or cancel the wine portion of your order due to state and local laws. If you’re unsure about the status of your order, feel free to reach out to us.
Where We Ship Wine
We offer wine delivery to the following states:
AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY
Wine cannot be shipped to:
AK, DE, HI, ME, NJ, RI, UT
We currently offer wine delivery Tuesday–Saturday.
Wine Shipping & Handling Charges
Wine incurs a separate alcohol shipping & handling charge that will appear as its own line item at checkout. This includes:
A flat-rate shipping fee
Taxes and fees based on the recipient’s state (automatically calculated at checkout)
This charge is not eligible for promotional discounts, but you can use UrbanStems credits to pay for the wine and its shipping fees.
What to Expect After Checkout
You'll receive one receipt with your floral + wine order details.
A separate email with wine shipping info will arrive once the wine is in transit (may be delayed if the order is scheduled far in advance).
What If There’s a Problem With My Wine Delivery?
We’ve got you covered. Here’s what to do:
Delivery issues or damage?
Reach out to our Customer Experience team as soon as possible. If the wine arrives damaged, you must contact us within 72 hours and provide a photo.
We’ll be happy to arrange a replacement shipment.
Want to change or cancel your wine order?
If your wine order hasn’t been submitted to our fulfillment team yet, we may be able to cancel or update it.
If your order is already being processed by our fulfillment team, we cannot make any changes (including address updates) due to alcohol shipping regulations.
