Why Were My Flowers Shipped Without Water?Updated 19 days ago
No water in the box is intentional — not a mistake. Our bouquets ship dry on purpose, and your flowers are designed to bounce back with a quick rehydration once they arrive.
Why we ship dry: Flowers shipped in water often degrade faster and can develop mold during transit. Shipping dry — with careful prep and packaging before the bouquet leaves us — keeps flowers fresher for up to 48 hours on their way to you.
What to do when they arrive:
- Unwrap the bouquet and check the stems
- Trim at least 1 inch off each stem at an angle
- Place the stems in a vase of fresh water right away
- Give them about 12 hours — they'll perk up as they rehydrate
If they still don't look right after 12 hours of hydration: Let us know here. Include a photo and a quick description, and we'll help you sort it out.
