Why did my specialty item arrive in a separate box?Updated a day ago

Good question — it's intentional. Speciality items (wine, Levain Cookies, Caviar, and our other partner products) ship directly from their makers, not from our warehouses. That means they travel in their own packaging, sometimes through different shipping carriers.

Why we do it this way:
Each partner knows how to ship their specialty product best — wine gets the right temperature handling, perishables travel cold, chocolates ship from their makers to stay fresh. Shipping them separately from our flowers keeps everything in the best condition.

What to expect:

  • Your flowers and each partner item arrive in separate boxes with their own packaging
  • You may receive tracking from different carriers (FedEx, UPS, or a partner-specific courier) depending on the item
  • Tracking info usually comes in separate emails for each shipment
  • Arrivals are coordinated around your chosen delivery date, but a specialty item might arrive a day before or after your flowers depending on where it's shipping to

If something's late:
Each shipment has its own tracking link — a delay on one doesn't mean the others are affected. If a partner item's delivery date has passed and it still hasn't arrived, reach out with your order number and we'll help sort it out.
