So, you’re ready to place an order with UrbanStems. Awesome! Let’s walk through it together.
- To start, head to UrbanStems.com (if you’re already there, great! You’re ahead of the game).
- Near the center top of the page you’ll see our company name, UrbanStems, and below that, you’ll see a horizontal “mega-menu” beginning with “Shop All.”
- Our recommendation is to start here, by clicking “Shop All”
- Once you’ve clicked “Shop All” you will be redirected to a page listing all of our bouquets, plants and gifts for you to browse.
- A few notes:
- If you’d like to see specific categories of gifts (e.g. only bouquets, only plants, etc), you can do that by clicking one of the headings in the mega-menu at the top of the page.
- On any page, you can use the menus on the left side of the page to filter the gifts you’re seeing by price, color, and other categories.

In order to ensure you’re seeing only the gifts available for your recipient on your desired delivery date, please enter your recipient’s address and select a delivery date in the “Sending To” and “Delivery Date” fields under the mega-menu.
- Once you do this, the page will be filtered to only show you gifts that can be shipped to your recipient on your preferred delivery date.
- All other items will be marked with badges reading “Receive on [DATE],” indicating when the item will be back in stock, or “Out of Stock” meaning the item is not expected to return this season.
- Once you’ve found a gift that you like, click its image and you’ll be redirected to the product’s specific page.
- On this page you can:
- Read more about the gift like, what’s included in the bouquet, or what kind of plant it is
- Make selections to add additional items like a vase or sweets to your order
- Once you have made all your selections, click “add to cart” to add the gift to your shopping cart. A pop up will appear giving you the options to proceed to checkout or continue shopping.
- If you click “continue shopping,” you can re-open your cart any time by clicking the shopping cart icon at the top right corner of the page.
- Please note: At this time, we cannot ship to multiple addresses within a single order. Also, some items (such as plants and bouquets) ship from separate locations and cannot be shipped together in a single order. In these cases, you will need to place multiple orders.
- Once you have finished shopping, you can reopen your shopping cart and click “check out” and you will be taken to the checkout page for your order.
- At the top left, you’ll see a field to enter your email address. Above that, you’ll see a button that says “Have an account? Sign In.”
- If you have an UrbanStems account, please sign in at this point. Note: You will only be eligible 1) earn or redeem loyalty points for your purchase or 2) apply any account credits you may have if you have signed in to your account.
- Once you have signed in, or entered your email address to proceed as a guest, you will be prompted to enter your recipient’s address.
- If you have signed in to your account, you will also be able to select from any previous addresses under the heading “send to a previous address.”
- Please enter as much information as possible about the recipient’s address including unit number, floor or suite number, etc.
- Make sure to mark the checkbox “This is a Commercial Address,” if we’ll be delivering to an office, a school, a hospital – anywhere other than a home or apartment.
- We require a valid US phone number for your recipient to proceed. Be aware that entering your own phone number or a false phone number (even if you’re trying to ensure the delivery is a surprise), may lead to delivery delays.
- Once you have entered the delivery address information, click “Enter Delivery Details” to proceed.
- On this screen, you will confirm the delivery date and select a shipping method. You may see more than one option for the shipping method; each option will have a unique price AND delivery date. Be sure to double check the delivery date before making your selection.
- You can also mark whether you would be all right with an earlier delivery (in the case of extreme weather conditions or other logistical blockers, we sometimes ship orders up to 5 days early to avoid late arrivals). This is completely optional.
- You can also note why you’re sending a gift (what’s the occasion?). Again, this is optional.
- Then click, “Personalize Your Gift” to enter a card message or select one of our pre-written messages if you need a little inspiration.
- FYI: We’re currently limited to 160 characters from the Latin alphabet. In other words, we can’t print emoji, foreign characters (like chinese or japanese lettering or accents over vowels), or any other non-latinate text.
- Before clicking “Proceed to Payment,” take a look at the column on the right hand side of the page. There you’ll see:
- A field labeled “Apply a Promo Code” – if you have a promo code, referral code, or coupon code you can enter it here to redeem it.
- Note: Promo codes and website sale offers CANNOT be combined. If you’ve selected a bouquet on sale or that was marked for free shipping, applying a promo code will cancel out the previous discount. Also, you may not use more than one promo or discount code per order.
- A dropdown menu where you can apply rewards for accumulated loyalty points (if your balance is high enough to have earned a reward). Redeeming loyalty points is optional; you may save them for another purchase if you wish.
- A field labeled “Apply a Promo Code” – if you have a promo code, referral code, or coupon code you can enter it here to redeem it.
- Once you have applied any promo codes or redeemed any loyalty points, click “Proceed to Payment” to enter your payment details.
- If you have shopped with us before, you will likely have a credit card or paypal account saved on file. If not, you’ll need to enter the payment information for the card or paypal account you’d like to use.
- Paypal and Credit cards are currently the only forms of payment that we accept. Credit cards must be associated with a valid US billing address, or the payment will be declined. If you wish to place an order but do not have a credit card associated with a US billing address, please opt to pay via paypal.
- If you have any account credits, you will see a checkbox that reads “apply credits.” Clicking that box will apply all active credits associated with your account to the purchase – deducting them from the order subtotal (the pre-tax amount). This is also optional; you may save your credits to be used for a different purchase. Bear in mind that account credits expire 12 months after the date of issuance and cannot be restored or re-issued.
- Once you have entered your payment information and applied any credits, click “Review Order”
- You will be redirected to a summary page where you can double check all the details of your order. Please carefully review all the details like delivery date, card message, and any other gift selections before clicking “place order.” Typically we are unable to modify orders after they have been placed.
- Shortly after clicking “Place Order,” you’ll be taken to a confirmation page where you can print a receipt for your order. You’ll also be able to record the order number and any other pertinent information.
- We’ll also send a copy of this order confirmation to your email!
- On the confirmation page, you also have the option send an email notification to your recipient. All you have to do is enter your recipient's email address and we'll let them know that a surprise is on the way from UrbanStems with the estimated delivery date.
