My promo code isn't working — why?Updated a day ago

A few common reasons a code might not apply at checkout.

1. It may have expired. Check the email or post where you found the code for the expiration date.

2. It may have already been used. Most codes are one-time use — once you've applied one to an order, it won't work again.

3. Your cart may have excluded items. Peonies, wreaths, Subscriptions, and our partner products (wine, Levain Cookies, Roe Caviar, Brightland olive oil, Boarderie charcuterie boards, and Vosges Haut-Chocolat) aren't eligible for promo codes. 

4. There may be a typo. Codes are case-sensitive — watch for extra spaces, or "O" vs. "0" mix-ups.

5. You may be trying to use two codes. Only one code per order — a second code replaces the first rather than stacking.

6. The code may be tied to a specific account. Welcome offers, birthday rewards, and referral codes usually only work when you're signed into the account they were issued to.
